# Trisha's exit sees Shriya's entry in 'Hero'

We are talking about the upcoming Prithviraj film 'Hero' in Malayalam. The film which sees Deepan calling the shots was supposed to take off with Mollywood heartthrob Prithviraj and Trisha as his heroine. It was rumored to be Trisha's official entry as heroine into the Malayalam film industry.

Now there are reports flowing in from the Malayalam film circles that Trisha would not be available to shoot for this film due to lack of dates. The director, who saw a tight corner cornering him, seems to have approached Shriya Saran who is believed to have happily nodded her "yes" to the project after listening to the script. Deepan, the director of this film has confirmed Shriya's presence in the film.

With 'Hero' in her kitty this will be Shriya's third film in Malayalam.

Sources close to this film's unit also reveal that Tamil hero SrikLinkanth too would be playing a prominent role in this film. Nedumudi Venu, 'Thalaivaasal' Vijay, 'Guinness' Pakkru and Anil Murali too would be seen essaying pivotal roles in 'Hero.' The music for Hero will be handled by Gopi Sundar, who will set to tunes lyrics by Anil Panachooran and Shibu Chakravarthy. The scripting for 'Hero' is by Vinod Guruvayoor.

# Back-to-work glow for Rani

When a fresh-faced Rani Mukherjee landed up at a studio shoot for Anurag Kashyap’s Aiyaa, those on the sets were left amazed by just how radiant the Bengali diva looked in a simple top and jeans. Those close to the actress have ascribed the “new and improved” look of the actress to her excitement about her second innings in Bollywood. “Moreover, Rani is really charged about this project,” a source told us. “From the story to the music, she has been involved in every aspect, and is really enjoying being a part of the process.”

Rani on the other hand, isn’t looking to dwell on the past, and the ups and downs of her career graph. “Well, I’ve never been in a hurry to sign films,” she says nonchalantly. “I only do a film if it excites me.”

Anurag’s film certainly seems to have excited Rani as of now. Or could it be that her idea of cinema has changed after No One Killed Jessica put her back in the reckoning? Will we ever see her in the Karan Joharesque roles that made her ascend to the top?
